Your Data Where You Need It

Need to adapt your decoded data to integrate with your current systems?

ScanFlex JS is a JavaScript application programming interface (API) for many Code decoders. Code readers can be programmed to transmit decoded data over a selected communications link, or to store data in reader memory (batch mode when available).

The programming environment provides interfaces to:

• Read and manipulate data in reader memory
• Access data sent by host
• Transmit data to a host computer, via communication link
• Select type of communication link
• Set, change, and retrieve reader configuration settings

FIPS 140-2 Certification

FIPS stands for the Federal Information Processing Standard established by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), for use in computer systems for the purpose of ensuring security and interoperability through data encryption. This encryption utilizes government-tested cryptography implemented in the transmission of data. Products certified as 140-2 compliant are tested and validated to be used in facilities under governmental management.

Data security via encryption is a standard part of every Code product, hardware and software. This standard keeps data private and secure. With FIPS Validation, this encryption improves and is more robust. Additionally, this validation qualifies our FIPS solution products as government approved for use in facilities under governmental management. Codes's CR2700 is available in 2 specific configurations that are certified and validated to be FIPS 140-2 compliant.
